Biography

Ronald A. Balkin, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of Retinal disorders and comprehensive ophthalmology. He obtained his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and continued his training with an internship and residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital, and a fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital.

Dr. Balkin has been in private practice for over 40 years, and sees patients at his office in New Hyde Park.
