Biography

Dr. Kinnari Patel has been practicing optometry for over 18 years serving the eyecare needs of patients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Dr. Patel sees patients for all aspects of primary eye care with focus on Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease. She also provides management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye diseases, and surgical co-management. Dr. Patel has a special interest in helping patients suffering from dry eye get help for their ocular surface disease or eyelid problems in order to be more comfortable and achieve better eye health and vision.

Dr. Kinnari Patel received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Microbiology from University of Central Florida. She went on to earn a second Bachelor of Science in visual sciences and her Doctor of Optometry from the prestigious Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Patel completed her clinical training at Lyons VA Hospital in New Jersey, specializing in ocular disease and management. She is Board Certified in Therapeutics, Treatment, and Management of Ocular Diseases.

She is a member of several professional organization, including the American Optometric Association, New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, Tear film & Ocular surface society, and the Contact Lens section of American Optometric Association. Dr. Patel is also fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
