Biography

Introducing Dr. Sahas Narain, a distinguished graduate with honors from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2019, bringing over four years of diverse ophthalmology experience. Always at the forefront of enhancing patient care, Dr. Narain actively participates in research-based competitions, consistently exploring innovative approaches to benefit his patients.
Completing his residency and internship at the University of South Florida Morsani Health, Dr. Narain showcased leadership skills as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. His commitment to excellence goes beyond clinical work, with involvement in various committees and leadership roles.

Apart from his medical achievements, Dr. Narain is a dedicated researcher, earning recognition for projects like “Corneal Stromal Niche Regulates Wound Healing” at the USF Ophthalmology Research Day. He also presents at meetings including recently at ASCRs discussing innovative ways to improve astigmatism.

Beyond the professional realm, he enjoys a balanced life with interests in sports, cooking, hiking and travel.
