Biography

Dr. Bhumi Kinariwala, MD is a fellowship-trained LASIK and refractive surgeon. Dr. Kinariwala completed her undergraduate education at Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Kinariwala obtained her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, where she was a member of the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society. At Thomas Jefferson University, she received an award for outstanding aptitude and excellence in ophthalmology.

Dr. Kinariwala went on to complete her ophthalmology residency at University at Buffalo. She completed a prestigious refractive surgery fellowship at Brinton Vision in St. Louis, Missouri. Her contributions to ophthalmology include multiple research publications. She is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Refractive Surgery Alliance. Dr. Kinariwala is also committed to volunteer work, as she has completed multiple mission trips internationally to perform cataract surgery for underprivileged communities.
