John Siliquini, Jr., M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist and life-long resident of the Philadelphia area. From the start of his general ophthalmology practice in the 1990’s, he has helped thousands of patients with diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and especially cataracts with advanced technology intraocular lens implants.
After graduating with honors from La Salle University in Philadelphia with a BA in chemistry, Dr. Siliquini earned his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He completed a medical internship at Abington Memorial Hospital and ophthalmology residency at Wills Eye Hospital, before entering private practice with his father.
Dr. Siliquini is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Professor of ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital where he teaches residents and surgeons. He is on the staff at Liberty Eye Surgery Center, Nazareth Hospital, Wills Eye Hospital, and Aria.
Dr. Siliquini enjoys yoga, martial arts, playing classical piano, and traveling in his free time.
