Biography

Raised in Westchester, NY, Dr. Lauren Sabol pursued her undergraduate studies in biology and human development at SUNY Geneseo. Her journey continued at SUNY College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree and graduated as a distinguished member of the Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. Dr. Sabol’s contributions to the field were recognized when her work, “Tackling the Myopia or Glaucoma Question,” was published in the Review of Optometry.

Completing her clinical training at Somers Eye Center, Ophthalmic Consultants of CT, and Woodhull Hospital, Dr. Sabol honed her expertise in treating and managing ocular diseases, pre- and post-operative surgical care, pediatrics, and contact lenses. Her dedication to medical optometry reflects in her commitment to providing comprehensive eye exams infused with compassion and extensive patient education.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Sabol maintains an active lifestyle, engaging in outdoor activities such as golf, ultimate frisbee, and hiking. Her love for exploration extends to travel, where she relishes quality time with family and friends.
