Vivian Monsanto, MD has been an Associate Ophthalmologist at The Mackool Eye Institute for two decades. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University she graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She then completed an internship in General Surgery at SUNY Buffalo. She continued her residency training in Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate at Brooklyn. After concluding her training in Comprehensive Ophthalmology, she joined the team at The Mackool Eye Institute in 1998 where she provides comprehensive eye care. In addition to caring for postoperative patients, Dr. Monsanto treats patients with glaucoma, anterior segment disease, and cataracts. Dr. Monsanto is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is fluent in Spanish.

Since you arrived you will be attended by great staff. They do a complete eye exam. They are very careful with the cleaning of every machine before you use it. You don’t have to wait too long in order to see the doctor who by the way is very clear to explain your condition. He is very professional and polite. I will highly recommend this place. By far, the best group of Drs. in the industry. I have seen 3 of their Drs. and they were all above and beyond!! If you have any eye issues they will greatly help you with their great knowledge and compassion!! Would recommend OCLI over and over again!!

The practices of OCLI Vision offer eye care services at locations throughout Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and specialize in primary vision care, LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and other services for patients in the Northeast. These locations include practice locations of OCLI Vision as well as the practice locations of other vision services providers and ambulatory surgery centers supported by the administrative services of Spectrum Vision Partners. Each location is identified by the vision service provider or company operating at the location.
