Biography

Scott P. Drexler , OD is a board-certified optometrist with extensive experience in cataract and refractive surgery management as well as cornea and primary eyecare services.  Dr. Drexler came to OCLI after serving as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine for over a decade.  Prior to coming to Pittsburgh, Dr. Drexler worked at The Eye Institute of West Florida for 18 years as a cataract and refractive specialist.

Dr. Drexler obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  Following his schooling , He completed an internship at Hahnemann University and a Fellowship at the Boston Sight Foundation. Dr. Drexler is an accomplished professor, author, speaker and researcher and looks forward to providing world class patient care to our OCLI Vision patients.
