We are across the street from the St. Vincent Depaul thrift store, next to the KIA service center. When heading East on E Jericho Turnpike, if you pass the Dix Hills Diner, you have gone too far. When heading West, if you pass Park Avenue (Wendy’s) you have gone too far.

  • May I bring someone with me to my appointment?

    You are welcome to bring a family member or caretaker with you to your appointment. They are welcome to join you in the exam room or wait in our waiting room.

  • I’m a new patient. How early should I arrive for my appointment?

    Please arrive 10 minutes before the time of your scheduled appointment so that you can sign in and present your insurance card at the front desk. We will have you complete the necessary paperwork. Appointments usually last approximately 1 hour, depending on the type of appointment.

  • I came here for a third opinion about my cataract surgery. I saw 2 surgeons before who seemed more interested in making money upselling premium lenses than in my concerns and fears. I’m only 40 years old and this decision will impact many years of my life so I needed a surgeon who could empathize and help me make the best decision for my lifestyle knowing what matters to me the most in terms of eyesight and lifestyle. Well, I couldn’t find that until I saw Dr Bloom. What a difference!! He took the time to listen to my concerns and address everything that had been worrying me for weeks. He offered the perfect solution for me and he was very enthusiastic during the conversation. He even took into consideration an underlaying condition which can impact this procedure whereas one of the other surgeons didn’t even know the disease and the second one disregarded it. I finally felt heard and understood. I have booked my surgery with him because all my anxieties disappeared after my visit with him and I feel 100% comfortable putting myself in his hands.
