If you’ll be taking a long flight or bus ride, you’ll want to remove your contacts and wear your glasses instead in case you fall asleep during the trip. Falling asleep with your contacts in is very harmful to your eyes. Bring your own contact solution with you so you know it’s sterile. You’ll also be more comfortable using the brand you like and are used to.

The air in airplanes and buses can be very dry. Be sure to pack some eyedrops in your carry-on bag so you’ll have them handy whenever you need them. Eye drops effectively relieve dry, scratchy eyes by gently moisturizing them.

Remember Your Prescription
You never know when something might happen to your glasses or contacts so it’s a good idea to keep a copy of your prescription with you when travelling just in case you need it.
