Biography

Glenn Stoller, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the retina. Dr. Stoller graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and received his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Stoller received a number of awards while in medical school, including the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Valentine Mott Medal for his contribution to clinical investigation in surgery and the Solomon and Doris Shapiro Award for Excellence. Dr. Stoller completed his ophthalmology residency at The Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York and has served as clinical instructor in ophthalmology at New York Hospital at Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Stoller also served as the assistant clinical professor at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Medical College and New York University Hospital. Dr. Stoller has been selected to be a member of the prestigious Retina Society, a national society of leading retina specialists. The mission of The Retina Society is to reduce worldwide visual disability and blindness by promoting the education and professional interaction of vitreoretinal specialists, providing optimal care for patients with vitreoretinal diseases, and encouraging, through clinical and basic research, the discovery and development of new means to further patient care.

Dr. Stoller has been and continues to be a very active researcher of promising new therapies for retinal diseases, including macular degeneration. He personally is developing new and innovative therapies for treating blinding diseases. Dr. Stoller has lectured throughout the country on his research for numerous professional societies such as The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists and The Retina Society.
