Serving Long Island, Rockville Centre, Stony Brook, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Manhasset and East Meadow Radiesse Patients

In addition to providing Long Island retina, LASIK, cataracts and glaucoma patients with excellent patient care, the highly trained surgeons at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island also offer an array of cosmetic procedure. The popular Radiesse treatment is detailed below.

Radiesse

Radiesse is non-toxic filler of calcium hydroxyl apatite microspheres suspended in carboxymethylcellulose gel injected in the face to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth. It can also be used to fill certain types of scars.

Radiesse results last for at least two years. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 30 minutes. Minimal swelling is normal and patients enjoy full results within one week.
