Serving Long Island, Rockville Centre, Stony Brook, Lynbrook, East Meadow, Valley Stream and Manhasset mid-face lift patients

The surgeons at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island are highly regarded Long Island glaucoma, retina, LASIK and cataracts specialist. In addition to providing exemplary vision care, they also offer a myriad of cosmetic procedures for the face. The paragraphs below offer information about the mid-face lift procedure.

Mid-face lift

The Mid-face lift is ideal for individuals who experience sagging in the cheeks and nasolabial area of the face. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.

During the surgery, several small surgical incisions are made across the hairline and inside of the mouth so that the fatty tissue layers in the affected area may be repositioned and lifted easily.

After the procedure, patients may experience bruising and swelling, but this generally subsides over the course of a few weeks.
