Dr. Eric Verruto, OD
Dr. Eric Verruto is an Optometrist who specializes in laser refractive surgery consultations and post-operative care, post-op refractions, contact lens fittings and primary eye care. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University and his Doctorate in 2006 from the State of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan.
Dr. Verruto has come to join OCLI after serving as the clinical director of a large refractive surgery practice in Long Island. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York Sate Optometric Association. He has participated in multiple volunteer missions to various countries to provide free eye care and eyeglasses to impoverished communities. Dr. Verruto is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Verruto is an associate of Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island. Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island, OCLI, consists of 26 doctors representing most specialties of ophthalmology in 9 locations throughout Long Island; in Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Manhasset, East Meadow, Port Jefferson, Mineola and Inwood.
