Robert Broderick, MD
Cataract & Refractive Surgery and Comprehensive Ophthalmology
Dr. Robert Broderick is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, LASIK and comprehensive ophthalmology, including glaucoma treatment. He received his pre-medical degree from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from New York Medical College. Following his internship and residency in ophthalmology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Broderick went on to complete a prestigious two-year fellowship in Cataract and Laser Surgery with noted ophthalmologist Dr. Charles Bechert in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Broderick currently serves as an Attending Ophthalmologist at St. Francis Hospital and Island Eye Surgery Center. He also served as the Vice President of the New York State Ophthalmological Society, where he has been a member for more than 10 years. Dr. Broderick is the former President of the Long Island Ophthalmological Society, the Nassau County Academy of Medicine Section on Ophthalmology and the New York KeratoRefractive Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has shared his experience as a lecturer on the latest advancements in laser vision correction surgery both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Broderick is a partner at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island (OCLI), which consists of 26 doctors representing most specialties of ophthalmology in 9 locations throughout Long Island; in Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Manhasset, East Meadow, Port Jefferson, Mineola and Inwood.
